OAKLAND — The names of two men killed in separate shootings last week in East Oakland were released Tuesday by police.
Investigators have said the killings are not related.
Robert Green, 37, was found shot to death about 2:17 a.m. Dec. 6 at the intersection of 76th Avenue and Hawley Street. Authorities said he was a transient.
Corey Clay, 19, of Oakland, was identified as the man fatally wounded just before 10 a.m. Dec. 3 in the 900 block of 69th Avenue near Spencer Street.
He got a ride from another person to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not released motives or made any arrests in either case.
