OAKLAND — A 24-year-old man was wounded multiple times by a drive-by shooter Monday night in East Oakland, authorities said Tuesday.
The man got a ride to a hospital from another person but his condition was not available Tuesday.
The shooting happened about 8:41 p.m. Monday in the 8600 block of MacArthur Boulevard near Castlemont High School.
The man was standing outside when he was hit by gunfire from a passing vehicle. Police have not yet said what kind of a vehicle the shooter was in.
Police don’t have a motive yet for the shooting and have not made any arrests.
