OAKLAND — A 27-year-old Alameda man wounded in a drive-by shooting Nov. 13 in East Oakland has died, authorities said Tuesday.
Tshonti Rollerson died Saturday afternoon at a hospital where he had been since the shooting, authorities said.
Rollerson was shot about 1:30 p.m. Nov. 13 in the 7300 block of Lockwood Street, just north of 73rd Avenue. Authorities said he used to live in the area. He was shot by someone in a passing vehicle that was last seen heading toward Bancroft Avenue.
Police have still not determined a motive for the shooting and have not made any arrests.
The death is the 68th homicide investigated by Oakland police this year. Last year at this time police had investigated the same number of homicides in the city.
