OAKLAND — A man shot to death Monday morning in the Lower Dimond district of East Oakland was identified by police Monday as 23-year-old Hadari Baker.
No motive has been released yet for the killing and no arrests have been made.
Baker, who lived in another part of Oakland, was shot about 10:12 a.m. Monday near the area of School Street and Pleitner Avenue. He died later at a hospital.
Police have not said why they believe Baker was in the area.
