OAKLAND — A 33-year-old man was shot multiple times in a home invasion robbery late Tuesday night in East Oakland, authorities said.
The man was in stable condition Wednesday.
Another person at the home was not injured, authorities said.
The robbery and shooting happened at about 11:10 p.m. Tuesday at a house in the 3000 block of Seminary Avenue.
Authorities said at least three suspects confronted the man outside the home demanding his valuables. He may have been shot at least once outside the home before he and the robbers went inside where he was shot additional times, authorities said.
Police did not say what the robbers escaped with.
Detailed descriptions of the robbers were not available. Police are trying to determine why the home was targeted.
