OAKLAND — A 29-year-old man fatally shot April 8 at an East Oakland car wash was identified by police Tuesday as Rasheen Ferguson.
A 36-year-old man who was wounded in the shooting has been released from a hospital.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting and have not made any arrests.
Ferguson, who lived in the area, and the other man were shot about 3:45 p.m. April 8 at the car wash in the 2300 block of Foothill Boulevard.
Police said the two men were acquaintances and were apparently hanging out at the car wash when the shooting happened.
Ferguson died at the scene and the other man got his own transportation to a hospital.
