OAKLAND — A 43-year-old man was in stable condition after he was shot multiple times Sunday morning in East Oakland, authorities said.
His name was not released by police.
The shooting happened about 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 8500 block of Blaine Street, just off 85th Avenue.
The man told police he got into a dispute with another man who pulled a gun and shot him.
The suspect fled before police arrived. The wounded man was taken to a hospital.
Police have not said what the dispute was about.
