OAKLAND — Three men were wounded in a pair of shootings Saturday night in different areas of East Oakland, authorities said Sunday.

All three were in stable condition.

Two of the men were shot about 8:39 p.m. Saturday after leaving a home in the 1100 block of 82nd Avenue in the city’s Woodland neighborhood.

One man, a 22-year-old, was taken to a hospital by relatives while the other, an 18-year-old, was taken by ambulance. Although the two are related, investigators did not disclose their exact relationship.

The shooter fled before police arrived. No motive has been determined for the shooting.

The other shooting happened about 11:26 p.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of 62nd Avenue, near Seminary Avenue.

A 29-year-old man was wounded in the shooting and got his own transportation to a hospital but was uncooperative with police, authorities said.

Police found several parked vehicles at the shooting scene that had been hit by gunfire, but no one else was injured.

A motive for the shooting has not been determined and no arrests have been made.

Police do not believe the two shootings are related.

Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money in the 82nd Avenue shooting and up to $5,000 in the 62nd Avenue shooting for information leading to the arrests of the suspects. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3426 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
