LAFAYETTE — A 54-year-old man died Thursday evening on a BART train in Lafayette, officials said Friday.
The Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office has not released his name or a possible cause of death.
The man was found to be unresponsive about 5:03 p.m. Thursday on board the train which was on the SFO-line.
Police and paramedics tried to revive him on the train but he was eventually declared dead.
BART said at this time the death is still considered to be from natural causes with no foul play involved but police are continuing to investigate.
