OAKLAND — Police are investigating a shooting Saturday afternoon in Oakland that left a 16-year-old wounded, police said.
Officers responded at 12:50 p.m. to reports of a shooting that had taken place in the area of the 55th Avenue and International Boulevard, according to Oakland police.
The victim was transported to a relative’s house, and a relative drove him to the hospital, police said. He was in stable condition Saturday afternoon.
No motive has been identified and no suspects have been located.
