OAKLAND — A 43-year-old man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in North Oakland on Friday is also a suspect in a San Francisco homicide, authorities said.
Authorities identified the suspect as Stefon Jefferson. He is considered “armed and dangerous.”

The Oakland shooting occurred in the 4100 block of Market Street, a primarily residential area, about 10:15 a.m., according to police. The victim, identified only as a 57-year-old man, was shot multiple times. Authorities pronounced him dead at the scene.
The homicide in San Francisco was reported Friday morning in the 2600 block of Arelious Walker Drive.
In both cases, Jefferson fled in a black 2015 Toyota Corolla with California license plate no. 7WVY390, authorities said.
Additional details about the killings were not immediately available.
The Oakland shooting marks the city’s 26th homicide of 2019. Last year at this time police had investigated 23 homicides.
Authorities are urging anyone who spots Jefferson or his car to immediately call 911.
