FREMONT — A pedestrian died Thursday night after he was struck by a vehicle, police said Friday.
The name of the man, believed to be in his 60s, has not been released.
The fatal collision happened about 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of Mission and Warm Springs boulevards.
The man was struck by at least one vehicle and the driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with police, authorities said.
Police have not yet said where the man was when he was hit or if drugs or alcohol were a factor in what happened. No arrests have been made.
A Sig Alert was briefly issued as several streets in the area were closed for the police investigation.
