FREMONT — A woman killed when she was hit by a train last week in Fremont was identified by the coroner’s office Tuesday as Cesilia Ortega, 35.
Ortega, who had no listed address according to the coroner’s office, was killed about 10:26 p.m. Nov. 7 when she was hit by a Union Pacific train in the area of Alvarado Boulevard near Lake Arrowhead Avenue, officials said.
The train conductor told police the train hit the woman while she walked on the tracks, authorities said.
No other injuries were reported and no other information was available.
