OAKLAND — A 19-year-old man was shot Friday morning outside his East Oakland home, authorities said .
He was in critical condition after undergoing surgery at a hospital, authorities said.
The man was found about 6:50 a.m. outside his home in the 2700 block of Church Street, a mainly residential area in the Havenscourt district.
He had been shot at least once.
A motive for the shooting is under investigation. No arrests were announced.
