OAKLAND — Three juveniles and an adult suspected in a downtown carjacking Sunday were arrested early Monday, authorities said.
They also are being investigated for other robberies, authorities said.
The suspects are three 17-year-old boys and an 18-year-old man, authorities said.
The four were arrested in East Oakland early Monday after they ran from the stolen vehicle in the area of 98th Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard after a police chase. Police set up a perimeter in the area and eventually found all four.
Authorities said the four are suspected in an armed carjacking that happened about 2:45 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of 12th Street, near the Civic Center post office branch.
A man had his vehicle taken at knife point but was not injured, authorities said.
