OAKLAND — A woman and a man were shot Sunday night while they were driving together in West Oakland, police said Monday.
They were able to drive to a hospital; their conditions were not available. Authorities said the man was 52 but they did not have an age for the woman.
The shooting happened at 9:19 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of West Grand Avenue. Authorities said the two victims were uncooperative but did tell police they were shot while driving.
Police don’t have a motive yet for the shooting and don’t know if the shots were fired by someone in another vehicle or by someone standing on a sidewalk. No arrests have been made.
Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the shooter. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 510-238-3426 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
