OAKLAND — A 20-year-old woman was gravely injured Friday night after the SUV she was driving crashed into a tree in the Oakland hills, police said Saturday.
Her name was not released.
The crash happened about 10:21 p.m. in the 11000 block of Skyline Boulevard near Redwood Road.
Police said the woman was driving a Ford Escape that crashed into a tree.
A passerby saw the wreck and called police. Firefighters had to remove the woman from the vehicle before she was transported to a hospital.
No other details were released.
