ALAMEDA — A man and his wife killed in a house fire early Monday were identified by authorities Wednesday.
The 85-year-old man killed was identified by the San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office as Salvador Reynado.His 80-year-old wife was identified by the Alameda County Coroner’s Office as Rosalinda Reynado.
They were found by firefighters inside their home in the 700 block of Buena Vista Avenue that caught fire about 3:20 a.m. Monday. The husband was taken to a San Francisco hospital and his wife to an Oakland hospital and they both later died from injuries suffered in the fire.
Another person inside the home was able to escape on their own and was hospitalized.
The cause of the fire, which destroyed the house, remained under investigation Wednesday.
