Grab-and-run thieves hit Concord T-Mobile store

CONCORD — Three men are being sought in the grab-and-run theft Monday night of thousands of dollars worth of iPhones, tablets and other items from a T-Mobile store at the Park-N-Shop center, authorities said.

Authorities said the three men entered the store at 1701 Willow Pass Rd.,  about 7:40 p.m. Monday, grabbed the items off shelves ran outside and fled in a car, possibly a green Honda.

No one was injured and no weapons were seen or threats made, authorities said.

Police are reviewing video surveillance tapes from the area to try and identify the suspects.

Police said it is too early to say if the theft is related to a series of other similar ones that have occurred at phone stores throughout the Bay Area, including Walnut Creek, Emeryville, Corte Madera, Santa Rosa and Petaluma among others.
