OAKLAND — A teenager died after being shot at least one time in West Oakland early Thursday, police said.
Officers were called to the 800 block of West Grand Avenue around 12:17 a.m. and found a 17-year-old boy on the ground outside a convenience store, police said. They did not specify how many times he’d been shot.
He died at a hospital.
Police do not have a motive for the shooting, and they have not identified any suspects or made an arrest. Authorities did not identify him Friday morning.
