OAKLAND — A woman and a man found dead inside a vehicle that crashed into a home Saturday morning in East Oakland had been fatally shot, authorities said Sunday.
Their names have not been released and police have not said where the two lived or what their relationship was.
They were found about 11:07 a.m. Saturday after the vehicle they were in crashed into a home in the 500 block of Douglas Avenue, a residential neighborhood in the Brookfield Village area.
They were pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was reported injured.
Police were trying to determine where the shooting happened before the vehicle crashed.
No motive has been released for the killings and no arrests have been made.
