OAKLAND — An autopsy will determine the cause of death of a man found floating in the Oakland Estuary on Wednesday evening, authorities said Thursday.
Authorities were still trying to identify the man.
He was found in the water off the 100 block of Embarcadero near the Jack London Aquatic Center about 6 p.m. Wednesday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said there was no obvious trauma to his body.
It was not known how long he may have been in the water.
