OAKLAND — Two men were fatally shot and another man wounded in a shooting in East Oakland late Tuesday night, police said Wednesday.
A 29-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released but police said he lived near where the shooting happened.
The other man killed, a 20-year-old Antioch resident, died Wednesday morning at a hospital. His name has not been released.
A 25-year-old Antioch man was also shot. His condition was not available.
The three men were shot about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of 87th Avenue. Police said the Antioch men had come to Oakland to see the 29-year-old man, but did not say why or what their relationship was.
.Police said the men were shot by someone who approached them on the street. A motive has not been determined and no arrests have been made.
