OAKLAND — Two men were shot Thursday afternoon in West Oakland, police said.
Their wounds were not considered life-threatening, authorities said.
The shooting happened about 2:16 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of Eighth Street.
Police said multiple shots were fired but did not say if the shooter was on foot or in a vehicle. Some residences in the area were also hit by the gunfire but no other injuries were reported.
The two men got their own transportation to a hospital. Authorities said they were uncooperative with officers.
No motive has been released yet and no arrests announced.
