FREMONT — A fire destroyed a storage trailer and damaged the main office at an RV and boat storage business early Wednesday, officials said.
A storage trailer at Auto Mall RV and Boat Storage, 42335 Boscell Road, caught fire at 1:23 a.m. Wednesday.
In addition to destroying the trailer, the fire consumed items outside the trailer. It then spread to the main office, where windows were blown out and damage was done to the exterior walls and roof, officials said.
Fremont Battalion Fire Chief Will Krings said it took firefighters at least 20 minutes to bring the flames under control. No injuries were reported.
Krings said no boats or vehicles were damaged. The cause of the fire is being investigated, and a damage figure has not been determined.
It was not immediately known if the business would be open Wednesday.
