OAKLAND — Two men suffered minor wounds in a drive-by shooting Sunday night in the Fruitvale area of East Oakland, authorities said.
Both men, one 23 and the other, 30, were treated at the scene and declined to go to a hospital, authorities said.
The shooting happened about 8:57 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of 35th Avenue.
Police said the two men were standing on the street with some other men when someone in a passing vehicle began shooting at them. The two men suffered graze wounds and no one else was hurt, authorities said.
A parked car was also hit by the gunfire. The vehicle the shooter was in drove off before police arrived.
Police don’t have a motive yet and no arrests have been made.
