OAKLAND _ A man was found shot to death Wednesday morning in a vehicle that had crashed in East Oakland, authorities said.
No information about the victim was immediately available.
The man was found inside the vehicle around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday after it had crashed near 106th and Bancroft avenues.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police were trying to determine exactly where the man was shot before crashing.
A motive for the killing was under investigation. No arrests were announced.

The killing was the fourth fatal shooting in East Oakland within a 12-hour period Wednesday morning.
A woman and man were found shot to death about 1:23 a.m. inside a home in the 1100 block of 89th Avenue, and a 27-year-old woman was fatally shot and a man wounded about 4:44 in the 1200 block of 18th Avenue.
Even though motives for the four killings have not yet been determined, police said Wednesday that they don’t believe that the cases are related.
