OAKLAND _ A man was found shot to death Wednesday morning in a vehicle that had crashed in East Oakland, authorities said.

No information about the victim was immediately available.

The man was found inside the vehicle around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday after it had crashed near 106th and Bancroft avenues.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police were trying to determine exactly where the man was shot before crashing.

A motive for the killing was under investigation. No arrests were announced.

Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the killer. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3821 or 510-238-7950 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.

The killing was the fourth fatal shooting in East Oakland within a 12-hour period Wednesday morning.

A woman and man were found shot to death about 1:23 a.m. inside a home in the 1100 block of 89th Avenue, and a 27-year-old woman was fatally shot and a man wounded about 4:44 in the 1200 block of 18th Avenue.

Even though motives for the four killings have not yet been determined, police said Wednesday that they don’t believe that the cases are related.
