OAKLAND — A man was shot Wednesday morning in West Oakland, authorities said.
The man was in stable condition at a hospital with a gunshot wound to the neck, authorities said. Police said he appeared to be in his 30s or 40s.
The shooting happened about 6:07 a.m. Wednesday in the area of the 3500 block of San Pablo Avenue.
After being shot, the man was able to make it on his own into a nearby residential complex where police and medical personnel were called.
Police are trying to determine exactly where the shooting happened and a possible motive. No arrests have been made.
