OAKLAND — A man was shot multiple times Monday morning in East Oakland, authorities said.
He was reported to be in stable condition at a hospital Monday afternoon.
The shooting was reported about 10:45 a.m. Monday in the 1600 block of 46th Avenue near Bancroft Avenue.
The man was found outside with multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital. Police did not say if they believed the man was shot by somone in a passing vehicle or by someone who confronted him on the street.
A motive for the shooting was under investigation. No arrests have been made.
