OAKLAND — A man found dead with with major head trauma Monday morning in the Temescal district in North Oakland was identified by police Thursday as 40-year-old Kenyon Graham.
Even though the exact cause of death is still pending from the coroner’s office, the case was being investigated as Oakland’s 131st homicide of the year.
Graham, who authorities said had no permanent address but was known to frequent the area, was found dead about 12:44 a.m. Monday on the sidewalk in the 500 block of 45th Street near Telegraph Avenue.
Police have not yet said how they believe he got his injuries.
A motive for the killing has not been determined yet and no arrests have been made.
