OAKLAND — A 33-year-old man was wounded multiple times in a drive-by shooting Thursday night in North Oakland, authorities said.
He was in stable condition Friday at a hospital.
The shooting was reported about 7:15 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of 45th and Linden streets.
The man was standing outside when he was shot at least twice by someone in a passing vehicle, authorities said.
More than a half-dozen shell casings were found in the area.
The man was able to get his own transportation to a hospital.
A motive for the shooting has not been determined yet and no arrests have been made.
Detailed descriptions of the vehicle and the shooter have not been released.
