OAKLAND — Two women and a 17-year-old girl were wounded Saturday night in a drive-by shooting in East Oakland, authorities said.
All three were in stable condition Sunday.
The shooting was reported about 10:11 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of 88th Avenue, a residential area just south of A Street.
Authorities said the three victims — a 35-year-old woman, an 18-year-old woman and the 17-year-old — had apparently attended a party in the area and were outside when at least one person in a passing vehicle began shooting toward them.
Authorities said more than a dozen shots were fired but no one else was reported injured.
The 35-year-old woman was transported from the scene by an ambulance to a hospital. The other two victims got their own rides to a hospital. Police have not said if any of the victims were related or otherwise connected.
Police have not released a possible motive for the shooting. Detailed descriptions of the shooter and the vehicle have not been released, and no arrests have been announced.
Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $15,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the shooter. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3426 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
