Two fatal Oakland shooting victims identified

OAKLAND — Two men fatally shot about eight hours apart Monday in different areas of East Oakland were identified by police Thursday.

A man slain about 2:11 p.m. Monday at a car wash in the 10300 block of MacArthur Boulevard was identified as Willie Lennon III, 30, of Oakland.

He was shot after getting into a confrontation with another person who possibly fled the scene in a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No motive has been released yet in the shooting and no arrests have been announced.

A man killed at about 6:30 a.m. Monday outside his home in the 1200 block of 88th Avenue was identified as Jesus Razo, 53.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A suspect was seen fleeing the area in a vehicle.  A motive for the killing has not yet been released and no arrests have been announced.

Police said they two killings are not related.
