OAKLAND — A 19-year-old Brentwood woman fatally shot in East Oakland on Nov. 6 was identified by police Wednesday as Madalyn Sandoval.
Investigators still have not determined why Sandoval was in Oakland or why she was killed. No arrests have been made.
Sandoval was shot at about 3:36 a.m. Nov. 6 while she was in a car in the 1800 block of Independence Way near San Antonio Park, authorities said.
She was driven to a hospital before police got to the scene and she was later pronounced dead.
